Very difficult to get specific military information out of Iran or Washington at this point. It looks like the U.S. and Israel are downgrading Iran’s weapons capabilities as well as targeting the theocratic leadership for death.

The Mossad, Israel’s CIA, pinpointed the Ayatollah for destruction along with some other militants. Few will mourn them.

Iran is now in chaos, and there should be a capitulation shortly. After that, there is likely to be a power struggle in Tehran to see who will preside over the new government.  It doesn’t really matter; the Trump administration will be calling all the important shots as it does in Venezuela.

A sidebar story is the desperation on the part of the anti-Trump movement, which is flailing around trying to spin the situation negative.  Obviously, the demise of a terror state is good for the world, so the naysayers have a tough lift here.  But they’ll try.

It is somewhat shocking that some radicals in the USA are actually rooting for Iran!  But clear-thinking Americans understand that terror killers should have no quarter.

However, President Trump has to be cautious.  The Jihadists are not defeated, even with Iran going down. The USA remains vulnerable to terror attacks. Having refreshed himself at the Olympics, FBI director Kash Patel enters a very intense landscape.

Like Saddam Hussein, the USA has destroyed another heinous villain.  So we march on as a noble people.  In a dangerous world, we have no other choice.
