Murphy’s Law is an Irish invention that says if it’s possible for anything to go wrong, it will. Especially when dealing with enormous problems.
The Trump administration inherited around 15 million foreign nationals who were wandering around the country unsupervised because President Biden didn’t care who entered the USA - come on in! No waiting.
Among the new arrivals were perhaps a million dangerous criminals, maybe more. Havoc followed.
In a stunning success, Trump’s border people almost completely shut down the Biden open policy in less than a year. Of course, the hate-Trump media largely ignored the success as it did the Biden failure. This is the American press we have today.
But then, mayhem. Rounding up millions of human beings who don’t want to be rounded up has led to rebellion and death. Mistakes are being made. On an operation like that, how could they not be made?
So, hello, Mr. Murphy. The question now is: can your law be overcome?
