Many, perhaps most, have tuned out the news as Christmas approaches. That's a sane approach because nothing much will happen until Republicans take control of the House in January.
Then I expect multiple investigations of Joe Biden, his hapless administration, and possible corruption in the FBI and social media.

This will be good for the country as long as Republicans go heavy on the evidence, and light on hysteria. Due process and fairness should rule these hearings, not innuendo, leaks, and partisan blather.
We are living in corrupt times, and the bad guys and gals need to be exposed. But, please, no more January 6 committee stuff. What a colossal waste of time and taxpayer money.
And don't forget there is yet another Special Prosecutor looking at Donald Trump, so we should get a pretty intense news cycle next year.
