Yesterday's Election
November 5, 2025

Republican voters were not as motivated as Democrats were in yesterday’s election. That’s pretty much the story.  Because President Trump wasn’t directly involved, the GOP got hammered in Virginia, New Jersey, and New York City.

Next year at this time, Mr. Trump’s legacy will be on the line in the midterms, so it should be a different look.

The country is about equally divided at this point, so the candidates' performance is vital.  In New York, Zohran Mamdani was a much better presence than Andrew Cuomo, on the personality front.  Younger voters who have no idea what socialism actually is simply saw an energetic guy who would give them things.

The ghost of Fidel Castro.

In addition, cities like New York and Los Angeles now have so many foreign-born voters that American traditions like self-reliance and competition are losing strength.

Finally, the TV nitwits who say yesterday’s vote is a harbinger of November 2026 are wrong as usual.  Many things will happen over the next 12 months.  The country will be much different next November.
Count on it.

See you tonight on the No Spin News.
