Young Americans and Socialism
March 11, 2019
There’s an old 60’s song by the group Guess Who that features this refrain:  “Maybe I’ll be there to shake your hand, maybe I’ll be there to share the land, they’ll be giving away when we all live together.”

I think Congresswoman Cortez and Bernie Sanders should remake that song together.  Or else Peaches and Herb might do it.

A new poll says many younger Americans have no problem with socialism and some even want to try it.  Well, what’s stopping them?  Venezuela beckons, there are flights to Caracas everyday.

But these Americans don’t want to leave the good old USA.  Nope, they simply want the government to give them things so they don’t have to struggle to make it under capitalism.  If Bernie or Alexandria ever gain power, that would be far out.  Then we can “share” all the land the rich people bought.

There was plenty of socialism stuff in the late 60’s and early 70’s.  It went nowhere despite the Guess Who.  And the same thing will happen this time around.

Tonight on the No Spin News, we’ll analyze Congresswoman Cortez’s speech in Texas.  Don’t miss it beginning at 7 eastern daylight time.
