It is clear that the House committee hearing Ukraine testimony is leaking selected parts of the closed door question and answer session to The New York Times, which then puts it out so other liberal media can publicize the anti-Trump stuff.
This is calculated, unfair, and vicious. Even if the President did something wrong, and that’s a big if, smearing him via leaks is despicable.
Yet that is what is playing out in front of the country. And we the people can’t do anything about it.
There is no more fairness in the media and the political zealots know it. So they can feed the partisan press lies and distortions all the while knowing nothing will be vetted. What a disgraceful system.
The truth will eventually come out about Donald Trump and Ukraine. And if there is no wrongdoing on the President’s part, Congressman Adam Schiff should face ethics charges.
As for the press, there’s nothing anyone can do besides take comfort in the fact that the corrupt media is destroying itself.
