This week, President Biden again travels to California to raise money for his party and reelection. He's been on the West Coast about as often as he's been in the Oval Office. He's not doing the people's business.
Mr. Biden, as I have stated, is largely a ceremonial President at this point. Cabinet members and advisors are running the country day by day.
These people are loyal to Mr. Biden, so leaks about his faltering leadership are few, unlike the Trump White House, which was a 24/7 sieve.
Likewise, Democrats in Congress go along to get along. They all know the President is not on the job, but silence is golden, as the Tremeloes once sang.
The group also warbled: "But my eyes still see."
And so do we all, even the dimmest among us. Joe Biden is not ready for his closeup, nor will he ever be again.
The most powerful man in the world is ready for the golf cart and the early bird special. His wife and party should grant him that before something awful occurs.
