It took about 30 seconds for the anti-Trump media to begin the Russian collusion narrative again, once the President returned from Europe.  This time The New York Times reported that Donald Trump, Jr., Jared Kushner, and Paul Manafort, all members of the campaign, met with a Russian lawyer shortly after Mr. Trump secured the republican nomination.

 

Apparently, the lady attorney promised to dish some dirt on Hillary Clinton.

 

Three points: I believe the newspaper held this story back for maximum timing advantage  - hoping the leftist national media would start a new round of Russia speculation.

 

Also, any political campaign would explore negative information about an opponent.

 

Finally, Trump, Jr. should have put that meeting on the record once the Russia thing exploded.  Now, it looks like they are hiding something.
