O'Reilly's Summer Reading Forum
July 20, 2017
Summer is half gone so to slow things down we've put together the O'REILLY summer reading forum.

Brad Thor's new thriller "Use of Force" is entertaining.  His hero, Scott Harvath, is fighting ISIS in Europe and things move along well.

Another novel that moves is "The Force" by Don Winslow.  But this one is dark.  It's centers on police corruption in New York City.  Some readers will find this one tough to take emotionally.

Also not easy to read is "Hue" by Mark Bowden, the author of "Black Hawk Down."  This is the story of the most intense battle of the Vietnam War.  Good reporting here but the first few chapters are slow.  Then the book picks up.

Finally, as we discussed, Sharyl Attkisson's nonfiction book "The Smear" also features excellent reporting.  If you want to know what George Soros and his fellow guttersnipes are up to - check this one out.

Big political discussion with Dennis Miller on the No Spin News today!
