As a nation we had a chance to come together and unite behind the death of George Floyd—but that isn’t what happened.

Instead, the tension between law enforcement and the black community became the story and that’s OK—this is a race story.

The problem came when the radicals, with the help of the media, hijacked the story. It became a tear down America story rather than build up protections for all Americans.
