It would be a terrible situation if Nancy Pelosi would use the dastardly attack on her husband to accuse her political opponents of fomenting violence.

Already, the once-responsible Bob Woodward has done that, and it is flat-out wrong. The loser drug addict who hurt Paul Pelosi is a deranged individual with all kinds of nutty beliefs.

On the other side, Elon Musk was correct in shutting down conspiracy theories about the crime on Twitter. This conspiracy stuff is totally out of control in America and needs to stop. Facts establish truth, not ideologically driven fantasies.

I well understand how angry many Americans are at the state of this country. I'm furious at how the progressive left is dismantling our society.

But that is no excuse for irresponsible actions on both sides.
