• 43 percent said the country is worse off than it was a year ago, with 35 percent saying it is better.
• 42 percent said Trump has changed Washington, D.C. for the worse. Thirty-two percent said he's changed Washington for the better.
• 68 percent disagree with Trump's recent insistence that he is a "stable genius."
• 18 percent said having Trump serve as president makes them feel proud. Forty-four percent said it makes them feel embarrassed.
• 66 percent said they dislike how Trump handles himself personally.

A Gallup poll last Monday found that Trump's approval rating stood at 37 percent.
