Leave it to NBA superstar LeBron James to ignore the facts in a story.

While lamenting that the American government has been unable to expedite WNBA superstar Brittney Griner's return from Russia, where she is detained for cannabis oil, James slammed the U.S. saying Griner may question why she would even want to return home.

Obviously, James wasn't thinking when he said those remarks.

The U.S. is not even close to Russia, or China dictates James in a way.

Let's ignore the Biden administration's role in this situation.

If James was in Russia and said what he said about them, they'd lock him up like Griner.

The reality is James is a billionaire and it's because of the United States. Maybe he should spend some of his money and reach out to Russia to cut a deal.
