Last night on NewsNation, Chris Cuomo, Stephen A. Smith, and I discussed the military action in Iran.  I showed up with many facts showing the corporate media was skewing its coverage negatively.  ABC’s World News Tonight has been particularly unfair.

This is nothing new, as the hate Trump movement is in full flower.  Cuomo pointed out that millions of Americans simply do not trust the President and therefore will not support his policies, no matter what.

That’s accurate but foolish.  Iran is a dangerous country, and diminishing it is sound strategy unless the military situation gets out of control, as we saw in Iraq. These puerile media “gotcha” games played out by an ideological press harm America.

I believe I won the debate.  Americans certainly should dissent from policies they believe are destructive.  But do it based on reality, not kool-aid-driven politics.

Is that too much to ask?  Apparently, for many, it is.  And that’s the truth.
