Midterm Voters Split
Midterm Voters Split
A new Harris/Harvard poll says Americans are split 50/50 over the midterm vote. Obviously, that’s bad news for the Democratic Party, which thought it had President Trump and the Republicans on the ropes due to the Iran conflict and higher prices for consumers.

The poll, in my opinion, reflects more about the lack of leadership on the left than it does about the President’s policies.

Putting the anti-Trump vote aside, what exactly are Dems selling to the American people?  Here’s a partial rundown.

- The left doesn’t want to confront Iran.

- Generally favors Hamas over Israeli forces.

- Wants higher personal and corporate taxes.  Especially a wealth tax, which is a seizure of private property.

- Favors even more government spending on entitlements despite the $40 trillion debt.

- Supports amnesty for migrants not convicted of violent crimes in America.

- Wants to defund ICE and border enforcement.

- Objects to military action against drug smugglers.

- Supports homeless people living in public spaces.

That’s a tough list to swallow for non-ideological voters and provides a shield to republicans who are facing higher prices for the essentials of life.

So, anything could happen come next November.  Could be a close one.
