The War Between the Press and President Trump
July 30, 2018

The war between the press and President Trump continues in a fierce way. Mr. Trump calling the media “the enemy of the people” because he believes distorted information about his administration is out of control.

After talking with the President, the publisher of The New York Times says he told Mr. Trump his anti-media statements are creating physical danger for journalists.

Possible. But the publisher issued no public statement when Maxine Watters urged confrontation on Trump supporters. Selective outrage is always interesting.

The question should be what exactly is Donald Trump supposed to do when the press has openly positioned itself to remove him from office? The term fighting fire with fire applies here.

On two cable news networks there is not one host on the air who is supportive of President Trump. Dozens are aligned against him.

The New York Times and The Washington Post line up against the President on just about everything, branding him a liar and worse.

But the most egregious media offense is that journalists no longer seek the truth.

It has now become clear that the Obama administration was surveilling the Trump campaign and used highly questionable means to do that. That is an enormous story. Is the national press aggressively pursuing that situation? No, it is not. Instead, it is pushing allegations of Russian collusion with the Trump people and accusations from women seeking money.

The real scandal is the anti-Trump media culture that has obliterated factual reporting.

Tonight on the No Spin News, we will present more damning information about the American press. Get ready to get angry.

See you beginning at 7 eastern this evening.
