Disrupters and Facilitators
April 24, 2025
As Donald Trump approaches 100 days in office, it is becoming clear as to how he is running the country the second time around. The President has hired two different types of people to advance his agenda: disrupters and facilitators.

The D group is headed by Elon Musk, RFK, Jr., and Pete Hegseth. The F crew's composition includes Pam Bondi, Marco Rubio, and Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent.

Now, why should you care?  Well, Mr. Trump's policies directly affect your well-being, and that's why.

The disruption strategy is a full frontal assault on the establishment.  Elon Musk has exposed government spending as largely out of control and wasteful.  His flamboyance in doing that has made him powerful enemies.  Mr. Musk will soon pivot back to the private sector, I believe.

Secretary Hegseth simply cannot succeed in the Pentagon.  Far too many enemies because most working there are careerists and don't want change.  General Patton would have trouble corralling this bunch. Mr. Hegseth will be back on Fox this year, I predict.

Few Americans know Scott Bessent, but he is emerging as a power.  Here's something strange.  Bessent made a fortune working for the dreaded George Soros decades ago.  Apparently, old Scott has a different take these days.

Every White House is a tough environment.  Bodies are piled high. Vicious in-fighting is a daily occurrence.

President Trump is a shrewd Chief Executive.  But he's loaded up his roster with loyalists.  Some of whom are short-timers.  Remember, disruption works both ways.

See you this evening for the No Spin News.
