The Minnesota undocumented migrant situation is dangerous. After my column “The Rebellion” was published last Sunday, other media began to wise up about what’s REALLY happening in that renegade state. Protesting political things is a hallmark of our country, defying the law is not.

Although I hope it doesn’t occur, President Trump would be on strong legal ground if he invoked “The Insurrection Act.”  That would allow federal troops to enforce immigration law in Minnesota as well as protect ICE agents.

In 1957, President Dwight Eisenhower did that to enforce desegregation in Arkansas. Governor Orvil Faubus openly defied federal law, so the 101st Airborne Division showed up to “reason” with old Orvil.  He backed down fast.

Minnesota is totally out of control on immigration.  It issues driver’s licenses to the undocumented, allows criminality by foreign nationals, provides tens of millions of dollars in assistance without checking into who exactly is getting the tax money; the result - billions stolen, fraud gone wild.

Now, Governor Walz is demanding that ICE agents leave the state.  Totally irresponsible.  Walz is the new Orvil Faubus.

I suspect Tim will back off. I also believe radical left groups are behind this insurrection.  Something has to give.
