President Trump certainly blinked in reopening the federal apparatus but the result is good for the country. While the leftist pundits continue to play the “let’s destroy Trump game”, the overall welfare of the country is suffering. Federal employees getting paid is a positive.

Ann Coulter is misguided in calling the President weak. He will get border wall money, he must if he wants to be re-elected. The fact that Nancy Pelosi won a short term victory may be frustrating for Americans who disapprove of her, but it is eventual border security that really counts. So there will be much more on the wall to come.
