How Important is the Truth to You?
January 11, 2018
How important is the truth to you?  Do you get angry when someone misleads you?  Do you yourself say things that aren’t true?  If you want the truth - every person lies on occasion.  The difference between good and not so good people is whether you value the truth and fight against the temptation to distort it.

Leave it to Oprah to define this issue, and it’s an important one, in her speech at the Golden Globe Awards.  Ms. Winfrey encouraged folks to find “your” truth instead of “the” truth.

Oprah’s choice of words the other night reflects something troubling: for many Americans, what they want to believe is the real truth, not what facts support.  If you live your life this way, delusion can easily take hold.

Tonight on the No Spin News, we’ll analyze the growing trend to personalize the “truth” and tell you how that is damaging America.  As always, I am looking forward to your feedback on the subject.
