Lots of mail disagreeing with my analysis that President Trump and former Vice President Biden are pretty much tied right now in the presidential contest.  I like dissent from my opinions but this time emotion rather than facts is driving the disagreement.

 

If you go to RealClearPolitics.com, you’ll see that an average of all polls on the race have Joe Biden ahead of Donald Trump by six points.  But the lead is bogus because most polls survey more democrats than republicans so the results are skewed.

 

The reality is that with uncertainty about the virus and the economy, a substantial number of voters are undecided and are watching developments closely.  If the administration contains the contagion and the stock market comes back somewhat, Mr. Trump will take the lead.  If not, Mr. Biden will have an advantage.

 

Trump supporters don’t like hearing that but it is the truth.  And my job is to report the truth.  I am a dying breed.
