Flying to England as I write this message. My son is studying at Oxford, so I have to see how my money is being spent. Hopefully, JFK airport will be functioning so human beings can get actual places, but you never know.
Fifty-four years ago, I did what my kid is doing at the University of London, Queen Mary College. Hard to believe it was that long ago. Mets won the World Series, and I missed it, but the experience abroad was worth it.
As you know, Britain is a staunch U.S. ally and a nice place to visit. In fact, I use British intelligence dispatches on Ukraine for my analysis, not American intel. That way, I know politics isn't creeping in.
Tomorrow, I will write from Oxford about sights and sounds. Some of my English friends want "Killing the Witches" because the crown was partially responsible for that horror.
