Taking a Step Back
August 4, 2020

Last night I realized I was out of ketchup. At first, I got angry because I pay people to shop for me and there was no ketchup.

But then I caught myself, I said what am I doing? Why am I getting angry? Who cares if there’s no ketchup? I can live without ketchup.

I stepped back from the situation and had a good laugh at my own expense, which is what I recommend you do.

That’s the key, when something bothers you, take a step back and ask yourself if it’s really worth getting worked up over.

Think about if you were on TV and millions of people saw your display – would you be happy with it? If the answer is no, then don’t do it and make a joke out of it – that’s what I do.
