The major weakness of the Democratic Party continues to be an astounding lack of vision.  Even with the nation angry over the high cost of living, the left has no solution. California is totally run by democrats, and it is beset with billions in debt, and social problems like homelessness are overwhelming there.

 

Problem-solving has also been overwhelmed by ideological divisions. Compromise, once a hallmark of the USA, is almost obsolete.  America’s political system is in major trouble.

 

Social media and corporate corruption play a major role in all of this, as those elected to make things better are brutalized in the court of public opinion.  I have been dealing with partisan attacks for 30 years and will never surrender to them.

 

But others in the public eye, understandably, do not want constant conflict. It’s debilitating.

 

President Trump is strong enough to continue on, but he’s a rare exception. Most politicians fold when the attacks mount.

 

So that’s where we are.  Don’t know if there’s a solution.
