Recent polling shows Democrat James Talarico leading Republican Ken Paxton by a few points in Texas. This is a major problem for the GOP.

 

President Trump endorsed Paxton, the Attorney General of Texas, over incumbent Senator John Cornyn because he didn't believe Cornyn supported the Save America Act.

 

Despite the polling, the Republicans are actually getting a break because James Talarico is a nut.

 

But here’s the truth: It doesn’t really matter which person you vote for, because the parties, not the candidates, are in control. Leadership now dictates what its members say and do.

 

If the Democrats want to pretend there are four genders, that’s it. If you dissent, they cut off your money.  

 

That’s the game; that’s where we are. And both parties play it.
