My Advice for Donald Trump
My Advice for Donald Trump
I recently gave some advice to President Trump. I’ve known the man for 35 years. He’s 80 years old. That puts him in his early 40s when I met him in New York City.

I’ve noticed that his posture is changing. That’s normal. As you get older, every malady in the world will visit you. I won’t even bore you with the stuff I have to deal with.

My advice to Donald Trump is to take the next month off… if he can. Get into an environment that he likes, a nice golf course somewhere, and relax a little bit.

He has to deal with Iran. Everyone understands that. But he can do that over the phone or with his staff. He needs a breather.

We want the best for all presidents. Not just Donald Trump, but Joe Biden, Barack Obama, Bush the Younger, and Bill Clinton.

As I chronicle in “Confronting the Presidents”, the job takes an enormous toll on a person’s health. Historical examples include Abraham Lincoln, Woodrow Wilson, and FDR.

You must respect the office.
