The Cincinnati Redlegs (their real name at one point) are competing to be the absolute worst baseball team in the big leagues. They might do it, but a comeback to respectability is not impossible.
President Biden is playing in the biggest of all leagues as the leader of the free world. If you evaluate him simply on economics, he is a total failure. Look at your wallet and investment statements if you have any doubts. Mr. Biden and the Redlegs are kindred spirits.
The question is: can old Joe make a comeback? I don't think so. He has improved nothing since being inaugurated. His administration has made everything worse.
One quick backup. The 1.4% inflation rate under President Trump - is approaching ten percent with Biden.
And there is no "replacement theory" where Joe is concerned. We're stuck with him for two and a half more years. Conservative fantasies of his removal are delusional.
As a loyal American, I hope Biden changes his foolish policies and begins to govern without the pernicious progressive influence.
But if he hasn't done that by now, something we don't know is in play. Failure is an orphan, they say. Joe Biden, say hello to Oliver Twist.
