Inauguration week in America and many Americans are not real happy about the State of the Union.
Biden has a somewhat monumental task in bringing the country together. I do not know that Mr. Biden is up to the task. He has not demonstrated, thus far, that he has any vision in this area.
If I were Joe Biden, I would have said, “stop the impeachment.”
That would have been controversial, but it would have sent a message that Biden is looking out for all Americans, because the impeachment divides the country further and is not necessary because Mr. Trump is out of office.
But Joe Biden is a political creature. He doesn’t want grief from his base. He doesn’t want to be attacked on Twitter. He doesn’t want to be scorned by his own party.
So, in my humble opinion, Mr. Biden puts destructive politics above the good of the nation.
Maybe during his inaugural address, President Biden will say we have to knock off all the hatred, and knock off the impeachment - I hope he does.
