Iran Propaganda
Iran Propaganda

During World War II, the United States military censored press reports coming back from the front. That is a violation of the First Amendment, but the Roosevelt administration didn’t care, and reporters could be prosecuted for failing to submit articles.

Today, we have the total opposite. Live time coverage of the battlefield and rank enemy propaganda being reported as fact by Americans.

Examples: Iran does not “control” shipping in Hormuz.  It attacks vessels with drones. That panics insurance companies, who are telling shipping operations they will not be reimbursed for any damage.

The US military could take control of the waterway any time it wants.  But that would require close-quarter combat, something the American people would not support.

Lucky break for Iran.

The fact that the media actively distributes Iranian propaganda is a scandal; perhaps a low point in the history of journalism.

Very disturbing.

See you this evening for the No Spin News.
