The Justice Department has launched an investigation into California’s chaotic voting procedures, and Democrats are not happy about it.  In fact, Sacramento will not comply with the U.S. Attorney’s request for information.

The Constitution gives each state the power to regulate voting. That’s because James Madison and the boys did not want a powerful federal government bullying the states into voting a certain way.  However, the Feds have oversight to make sure states do not allow cheating.

The progressive left and its media enablers are screaming that charges of fraud in California are “baseless.”  But how would they know that? There has not been an investigation.

A phony assessment of California’s voting standards is baseless.  Reality is another matter.

I have no evidence of voter fraud in the Golden States.  But here’s what I know.

You can register to vote on Election Day itself with little or no documentation that you are a California resident or even a citizen of this country.

Anyone can collect mail-in votes and transport them to county offices in sacks or packages.

Undocumented folks can get California driver’s licenses and use the credential to register to vote.

The deadline to have your vote counted is a week after Election Day.

Sounds like some potential corruption could occur.  Or is that statement “baseless”?
