The Godfather of the Communist movement is ramping up. This week, Bernie Sanders went on all the social media shows and blathered about the Marxist Mayor of New York, oligarchs, and Donald Trump. You know the routine.
In one interview, the Senator praised Zohran Mamdani for demanding, “free and universal childcare” in the nation’s largest city.
Some facts for Sanders: There are half a million kids under the age of four living in New York. So-called “free” daycare costs $27,000 per child.
That’s $13 billion each year, ten percent of the city’s operating budget.
Sanders won’t articulate his ideology, but here it is: He wants the government to raise our kids. That’s what they have in China. Parents don’t rear the urchins; the Communist Party does.
Bernie, Mamdani, and AOC are dangerous people. But the progressive crew has made major inroads in this country.
Don’t dismiss the zealots. Their movement is growing.
