When somebody does something good for you, it’s normal to say thank you on the spot, and that’s it. 

Take the extra step and time to write a thank you note. That will solidify you in the mind of the person who did you the solid.  

I have nice cards with big green shamrocks on them. I write my thank you, it doesn’t need to be long - I put on a stamp on the card and send it. 

It’s classy to send an actual letter, but you can email or text the person. Wait 24 hours and send your thank you text.

Sending a thank you note means a lot, you may not think it does, but it does. 

This is a trait you should pass along to your urchins. It will reflect well on them and I think it’s important.
