The Department of Homeland Security reports that foreign nationals seeking political asylum in the USA has increased 67 percent from last year.  Here’s the summation: 

“Migrants are being coached by smuggling cartels in how to proceed and make claims even if their case is weak.  They are told they will be admitted and given a chance to argue asylum, usually being released into the community to await hearings. 

And those hearings could take more than three years to happen.  In this fiscal year almost 100,000 people have applied for asylum - overwhelming the system.

Also, nine days ago, on December 3, more than 3,000 migrants were caught trying to illegally cross the border.  Again, the system cannot handle the growing intrusion and that’s the strategy: break apart America’s ability to stop illegal entry.

You would think all citizens would find this worrisome.  But that is not happening as those who want immigration law enforced are battered by the media and many liberals.  Tonight we will analyze this very dangerous situation with a look at what everyday Americans really think.
