Big day for the USA. Secretary of State Rubio is in Rome talking with the Pope and Prime Minister Meloni, talking about Iran. There’s also some dealmaking going on.
President Trump remains the strongest player in this mess, but it will take all his skills to tamp down the growing anger over $5-a-gallon gasoline. Hope he can do it. The world is becoming very dangerous, and the country needs strong leadership.
No partisan stuff, but I don’t see the Democratic Party as a game-changer, although NATO would like a switch.
Some things are beyond our control, and the Middle East is one of them. But all of us should be hoping the USA prevails.
