The statement yesterday by ABC News White House correspondent Jon Karl that Robert Mueller’s Russia-collusion investigation will not contain any “bombshell” revelations has the Trump-haters upset.

I use the word “bombshell” because that’s what the haters branded a dubious New York Times report that said elements of the FBI investigated President Trump to see if he was a Russian agent. Foolish story, poorly covered. The only relevant point being that Mueller discounted the allegation immediately.

The Times headline should have been: “Special Counsel rejects FBI investigation linking Trump to Russia.”
