Another day, another New York Times story anonymously attacking President Trump.  This time some secret source tells the paper that Mr. Trump is using illegal aliens to divert attention away from the Mueller Report, which will be released soon.

 

The Times scheme goes this way - the President is saying he may send undocumented migrants to Sanctuary Cities so you will not pay attention to the 800 page Mueller deal.

 

That sounds logical, doesn’t it?  Hey, Alice, forget what Mueller says, let’s dwell on Sanctuary Cities.

 

The truth is that Mr. Trump realizes that giving cities that disobey federal law a hard time is a good campaign issue for him.  You really don’t need an anonymous source to figure that out, although The New York Times might.
