Yes, high prices and the open border crushed the Vice President, but it is her so-called "values" that also spooked many voters.

 

So, let's take a look at those.

 

Kamala Harris embraces a movement that proposes the USA be run by central planning out of Washington, an enormous federal government that would impose government-run health care, onerous taxation, and regulation, a vast entitlement system that would provide for those who cannot or will not compete in the marketplace.

 

Under the banner of "fairness," the government would "provide," and workers would pay.  And pay.  And pay.  

 

In addition, I can find no criticism from her targeting far-left law enforcement that has led to widespread death and destruction across the land.

 

On the subject of death, Ms. Harris celebrates abortion up until birth with no restrictions.

 

She is also a staunch Green New Deal supporter, no matter what the fiscal destruction.  That is an extreme position.

 

So, relief is in the air, as it should be.  The voters have derailed the madness, at least for now.
