We'll Do It LIVE! - Peter Navarro

O'REILLY Now, how was it inside a federal penitentiary?

NAVARRO I said when I got arrested, the day I got arrested, this case was going to the Supreme Court.

O'REILLY How does China influencing the vote in Arizona?

NAVARRO They attack us every day.

NAVARRO Why Fauci must rot in prison. He is responsible for the pandemic.

O'REILLY Hey, Bill O'Reilly here with another edition of We'll Do It Live, and we're very pleased to have you with us. So, important program tonight, the midterms are going to be adjudicated on the economy. So we are trying to get the best information to you because there's a lot of propaganda floating around about the economy. Everybody knows about gas prices, food prices, but you know, what's the real story? So, Dr. Peter Navarro, senior counselor to the president, is kind enough to join us. Just a little bit about the doctor. He has a PhD from the Kennedy School at Harvard. That's pretty impressive. He is outspoken, went to prison for four years. In the election snafu, we're gonna talk to him about that a little bit, and now he's in the White House as the top White House Trade person. There's a lot of people floating around, but nobody knows more than Dr. Peter Navarro. How about that pretty good lead, right?

NAVARRO Not bad. Not bad.

O'REILLY You know, I have to tell the audience that...

NAVARRO I don't think we need another take on that, I think you nailed it.

O'REILLY I sweetened it up because you were kind enough to wait for me because I was trapped in the Oval Office, and you know how that is.

NAVARRO Well, to show you how good of an economist, I told you before you went in there, I forecasted that you would be late by about an hour.

O'REILLY And you hit it, right?

NAVARRO Just about right, yes.

O'REILLY But it was fascinating.

NAVARRO It's fun with the boss. I mean, the longer time he gives you, the more he loves you. And he loves Bill O'Reilly.

O'REILLY I've known him 35 years, and so he owes me.

NAVARRO His eyes light up when he sees you, Bill.

O'REILLY All right, so look, let's get into this Americans and their money. And you gotta make it so even I understand it. So you're one of the chieftains of the tariffs, okay? And today, in the Oval Office, President Trump was talking about how much money in tariffs is coming into the USA, which basically is a tax on foreign goods here. Nobody knows where that money is. Where is the money?

NAVARRO Well, it goes into the general revenue fund and helps pay for things. The importance of the tariffs, Bill, is that they're the strongest tool we have to protect America from what is an international system of world trade that, by law and rule, is fundamentally skewed against Americans. The World Trade Organization is the organization which sets the rules for all the different countries. And it's got a set of rules, including one called most favored nation, which allows every other country in the world to charge America higher tariffs than we charge them and put in these so-called non-tariff barriers. So for years, we saw our factories and our jobs accelerate offshore, our wages go down. It got much, much worse when China was allowed entry in 2001 into the World Trade Organization. And we essentially gave away much of our productive capacity and prosperity. And that's why Donald Trump came along. Because what he did was campaign on protecting American workers, increasing Americans' wages. He's the blue-collar president. And the place which elected, the places that elected him were the battleground states of the Midwest, which had taken the biggest hit from Chinese predatory practices, Wisconsin, Michigan, Pennsylvania. And we got in here in 2017, immediately put on tariffs both on China, steel and aluminum, and manufacturing began to come home to this country.

O'REILLY All right, let me stop you there. So we have a $40 trillion debt in this country. And according to President Trump, and he said it again today, record amounts of foreign money coming here because we are taxing their products at various rates. The debt hasn't moved down, you would think, Most people would say, well, okay, if we're making all this tariff money, why isn't the debt down to $36 trillion? Why don't we have a number?

NAVARRO You know, it's a funny thing, Bill, I was on News Nation right after you were on News Nation. It was hilarious. And you were asking the question, how much, why doesn't the administration ever say how much money they're raising from tariffs? Let me answer that question for you right here. The Congressional Budget Office projects that our tariffs over a 10-year period will produce $3 trillion, 3 trillion. And what that does is it takes our budget balance and moves it basically from a deep, deep deficit, because we are spending way too much money, and moves us back towards balance. So there's a lot of moving parts here. There's a lot of programs that were put in during the Biden years that we can't turn off. Russ Vought right down the hall, OMB wants to turn it off, can't, and we're just, we're just spending.

O'REILLY Wouldn't it be wiser for someone like you, or even President Trump, or whoever he wants to designate, to say to the American people, look, the reason I'm doing this is to bring down the national debt, and our projections are, if the Trump tariffs remain, that the debt will come down here. I can't guarantee it, but that's our projection. That's something that everybody could understand.

NAVARRO Correct. And when we, when we... Look, the... Legacy media and the corporate kind of establishment created a narrative when we first started doing the tariffs. The tariffs were inflationary.

O'REILLY Yeah, they don't like them. Everybody's getting hurt.

NAVARRO And what's happened is now we've got, like, years now of proof that they don't cause inflation, and they actually bring in investment. Bill. We've got $19 trillion pledged so far to come here and invest. Just yesterday we had a 15 billion dollar pledge to put a new steel plant in Iowa and three billion more in the Iron Range in Minnesota. Our manufacturing's steadily going up. In order to manufacture here, we get all these construction jobs. But Bill, the first reason why you do the tariffs is not the money. That's a nice byproduct, it's a big byproduct. The reason you do it is you protect the American workers and our defense industrial base and our manufacturing base because if we don't have the jobs and supply chain here, we cannot prosper as a country, and we're vulnerable.

O'REILLY Yeah, and all the numbers in those areas are going up. What's with Canada? Why are we mad at Canada? I mean, it's a tariff trade situation. So give me an example, just one, of something Canada is doing that hurts American workers.

NAVARRO So our dairy farmers, we have very good dairy farmers.

O'REILLY We got the cheese, we got the milk, we're in North Dakota.

NAVARRO You can't sell effectively to Canada because they got triple-digit tariffs on their own tariffs.

O'REILLY So Canada blocks the dairy products.

NAVARRO So you got the dairy. Now let me give you another one. Right now, if Japan, Korea, or Germany wants to sell a Toyota, a Hyundai, or an Audi in Canada, they get a better break than GM and Ford do selling into Canada, that's discriminatory. That's discriminatory.

O'REILLY So, lower tariffs from certain countries into Canada.

NAVARRO What Canada has is a set of discriminatory trade agreements, which really punish the United States.

O'REILLY Why? Why would they do that?

NAVARRO Because historically, we've let them do that. So they can get away with it. They got away with. And if you go back to 2016, when the boss got elected, right, go back to November, he gets elected. The first thing I'm assigned to do with Wilbur Ross, who I'm sure you know well, he was going to be the Commerce Secretary, is to go negotiate with the Canadians, because we were going to get rid of NAFTA, i.e., SHAFTA, and turn it into what would eventually become the U.S. MCA. I began to engage with these people, and they were the most arrogant, backstabbing people I've ever seen. Is this true?

O'REILLY Is this Trudeau, though, or the new guy, Carnes?

NAVARRO This was Christy Freeman. I don't know if you ever heard of her. She had run once, maybe being prime minister. But the point is that for decades, dating back to the 90s, they pretty much had their way with us.

O'REILLY So when you started to negotiate, they said, F you. We're gonna keep it the way it is because we're making more money.

NAVARRO And they did, they'd leak stuff. They'd do this, they try to play us against the Mexicans and at one point it was like, we didn't... we just said we're not doing a deal with you. I mean, the boss said, hey, get out of here Canada. We forced them by coming up with the deal with Mexico.

O'REILLY That's not the way it's portrayed in the media.

NAVARRO Exactly, yeah, but who's the media, Bill?

O'REILLY Well, we're bullying Canada.

NAVARRO Yeah, but the facts are the facts, and the facts are they discriminate, and all the president is trying to do is get a fair deal for our farmers.

O'REILLY And he'll get it. It'll happen.

It'll, it'll happen, but here's, here's the problem politically. It's like, like, Mark Carney, the prime minister, and Doug Ford, the guy in Ontario. Every time they bash Trump, they go up in the polls. And every time they go up in the polls, the Canadian economy goes down. I liken the Canadian economy to a rowboat. We're an aircraft carrier. We depend on Canada for what, 2% of our economy. They depend on us for, I don't know, more than half. So that one will go away, but it's an unfortunate situation.

O'REILLY Yeah, it just makes everybody look bad, and people don't understand it, so they blame us. Now, China's doing some three-card Monty with Canada, too, right?

NAVARRO Well, that's a big problem because Carney is playing checkers in the chess world. He thinks that somehow he can exert leverage on us by getting in bed with the Chinese.

O'REILLY What is he buying? What is Canada buying?

NAVARRO Well, what he's saying is, come on down, and China, come invest here in Canada. Build your EV auto factories here. And China wants to do that, to use it as a launching pad, then to send cars over here under the cover of the USMCA and get zero tariffs. And we're looking at that going, are you out of your mind? I mean, two things are going to happen there. One, we're not letting them in, and two, China's going to eat your lunch. I mean, if you go to Vancouver, beautiful city, it's basically a province of China right now. So...

O'REILLY And they're building factories on Canadian soil.

NAVARRO They're doing all sorts of stuff, and once China gets their teeth into any country, whether it's Canada or Greece or Nigeria or whatever, they begin to use what's called their debt diplomacy predatory practices, right? They'll start handing out favors, they'll manipulate the political system, and the next thing you know, they start owning your infrastructure and your grids and things like that. It's a very dangerous game Canada's playing.

O'REILLY There's a tariff aspect for the Chinese-Canadian trade, too, because they get more favorable rates than we get, right?

NAVARRO Yeah, yeah. I don't... Look, Carney is destroying the Canadian economy as we speak. And the only thing I hold the Canadian people accountable for, because they're very nice people, is for not realizing that they can't beat us and all we're asking for is fairness. We're not bullying them. We're just saying, hey, treat us fairly.

O'REILLY Now, I noticed you weren't with Xi a couple of weeks ago when he rolled into town, because you're not a big China fan, which to me gives President Trump some credit. So he's just not hiring yes-men. You don't like China. You think they're a real serious enemy. Is that correct?

NAVARRO The first book on China I wrote was called The Coming China Wars in 2006. I followed that up with Death by China, film and a book, in 2011. And then the third in the trilogy was Crouching Tiger, which showed how China was using its economic predation to turn that into an army, a military that would basically be able to compete with us. They are an existential threat. It's a threat that we created the day we let them into the World Trade Organization in 2001. And one of the most eerie statistics I can quote you, Bill, is that our trade deficit with China is roughly equal to their defense budget.

O'REILLY So the money goes in to...

NAVARRO Yeah, we're paying that. So they, look, Communist China, to be clear, attacks us every minute of every day. They engage in what's called unrestricted warfare. It's a doctrine that goes back to a document that was put out by a couple of military personnel. And it's basically the idea that when you engage in a war with a country like the United States, you don't do hot war. You learn about attacking financial systems, grids. You take out their industries. I'll give you an example right now. And this has been an important historical event. China has shown that it will weaponize their supply chains to gain geopolitical leverage over the United States and everywhere else in the world. And what they did was last year, they weaponized this thing called rare earth magnets.

O'REILLY Yeah, the minerals.

NAVARRO Yes, and the reason why that's important is that the magnets are used in virtually every technological product we have, both civilian and military, whether it's an F-35 or an iPhone, everything in between.

O'REILLY Well, that's why we made the deal with Greenland.

NAVARRO Everything in between, and so what China is doing in... That and every other industry, that started decades ago when China went in and basically dumped a bunch of product on the market. That's what they do. They build capacity, and they subsidize it. They dump the products on the markets.

O'REILLY Hats, shirts.

NAVARRO Well, technology. This was magnets, right? So they put out a business and then acquired the only magnet manufacturer we had at the time. It was in Michigan. And they gained control of that whole supply chain. And then decades later, because that's how they planned.

O'REILLY And you need those minerals to build a car? what do you need them for?

NAVARRO Everything from an F-35, a car, an iPhone, these magnets are in just about everything.

O'REILLY So they took over the only factory in the United States that was using that. They control it.

NAVARRO Yep. And then they put everybody else worldwide out of business. What they do, Bill, is it's China Inc., right? It's like they have the cheap slave labor, but that's only a small part of the issue. They use massive government subsidies. They throw everything at key industries. You can look at it right in the five-year plan. We're going to go after this, this, and this. You know, the autos, the latest thing is the EV market. I mean, they're basically have hyper-subsidized. Electric vehicles, and now they've blown past Tesla. They've got two of the biggest EV producers in the world, and they're putting Volkswagen and everybody else.

O'REILLY Canada taking those EVs?

NAVARRO China's going to start producing those EV's in Canada as a staging area to try to get into the American market and look, if a Democrat gets into the Oval Office right across the street, you know what will happen, and China will have their way with us. So the bottom line is, economic threat, existential threat, that's China. And they attack everything in this country every day of our lives. And we are vigilant.

O'REILLY Trying to weaken us.

NAVARRO Yes. And that doesn't mean we have to beat our chest and scream at them. President Trump is well aware of this, and diplomacy is useful, but we are clear-eyed about that threat.

O'REILLY Okay, but he does not send that message out to the public, President Trump. He's buddies with Xi. We got pandas. And they kept you. Did they kidnap you?

NAVARRO I could have, I could've attended if I wanted to, but it's not my thing. I did a lot of that in the first term, and I saw the kabuki of it all.

O'REILLY You're telling me that behind the scenes, with you as one of his top advisers on the tariffs, he knows what China's doing.

NAVARRO He knows exactly what they're doing.

O'REILLY But to the public, he's putting on another face that we have to be friendly with these people. That's what's happening, right?

NAVARRO He's managing that relationship in a way. But at the same time, we're clear-eyed, and look, we have very, very large tariffs on China. And we take steps every week that are designed to defend ourselves against Chinese predation across a wide range of sectors. And we must, we as a nation must do this across party lines because they attack us, Bill, they attack us every day. They're hacking our financial system. They steal our intellectual property. They massively subsidize industries and put ours out of business. And President Trump has been the breath of fresh air and the guy on the ramparts at the same time.

O'REILLY But the public doesn't know it. That's key. Now, talking about China, in July

NAVARRO Tell me something. You're experienced. How do you get a message out when CBS, ABC, NBC, PBS, CNN, MSNOW, and half of Fox are basically anti-Trump?

O'REILLY You do it this way.

NAVARRO How do you do that?

O'REILLY You do it this way.

NAVARRO Exactly.

O'REILLY Look, my operation is extremely successful, as you know, and there's enough social media where you can get your message out now. The problem is that the corporate media controls what most people hear and see unless those people are looking.

NAVARRO It's a big unless. It's a big unless. We do what we can.

O'REILLY But they're losing credibility like crazy, they're damaging themselves.

NAVARRO Nobody believes them. I mean, but but still people are fed that the newspapers in the same damn way.

O'REILLY There's no doubt about it.

NAVARRO And, you know...

O'REILLY I talked with President Trump about that today, about the suppression of news, which was not what Jefferson and Madison had in mind, just not reporting what was happening. Now, in July, there was a big announcement, and Trump gave a speech to the world that China interfered with the 2020 election. Okay, remember that.

NAVARRO Do I remember it? Yes. I was well aware of it before that announcement, and we got additional classified information from our intelligence community, which really filled in the blanks. Go ahead.

O'REILLY So I am not one of these people who has discounted election fraud. All I want to see is facts. That's it. And I have pretty good context. But when the president gave his address after it, I didn't know how China manipulated the election. I specifically didn't know. I knew what the accusations were. I knew that US Intel was saying, as you just pointed out, but I didn't know how. How has China influenced the vote in Arizona? How are they doing it?

NAVARRO So again, this is the failure of the media. If you look at what happened, the print media really didn't cover it. You couldn't really read anything much about it, like the New York Times. Fox, which is supposed to be on our side, one of their producers, Suzanne Scott, the CEO, said, we're not talking about that at all.

O'REILLY Do you know why?

NAVARRO I, look, I can look at motives. I mean, I know they had a lawsuit.

O'REILLY Yes, there you go. They have lost a billion dollars on this election.

NAVARRO Yeah, they gave away a billion dollars because they settled a suit which they could have won.

O'REILLY Ah, we may disagree there.

NAVARRO But let me explain what, to answer your-

O'REILLY I just want to know how China did it.

NAVARRO It's about capabilities to influence elections. One of the big things they did was they bought several hundred million voter files. So they gathered data on people, about and knowing where they would vote, how often they vote, and things like that.

O'REILLY Who were they buying from?

NAVARRO You can do that publicly.

O'REILLY Okay, so China in Beijing.

NAVARRO Yes.

O'REILLY They assembled a voter profile.

NAVARRO They have a whole voter profile, so that's one way. We don't know what they did with that, but we do know that there was a lot of absentee ballot fraud, which at the time we could not detect. One of the things that was done in the Peach State, Georgia, was a pivotal battleground state that we lost by 12,000 votes. Right. What they did was take away signature verification, essentially. So people who would send in their absentee ballots, they stopped checking the signatures, right? And so they went from a 6% rejection rate of absentee ballots based on phony signatures to less than 1%. At the same time, the number of their absentee ballots, which were overwhelmingly pro-Biden, just went off the charts.

O'REILLY How is China involved with that? That sounds like a Fulton County problem.

NAVARRO That's what we don't know, Bill, because we can't get to the bottom of that, but they were developing the capabilities. Now, the other thing they do is they do the bots on social media. They do messaging. They're doing it now. They did it in the last election. They did it in 2020. They send out messaging in ways which are designed to advance an agenda. And I can tell you that the last person they want in the Oval Office on God's good earth is Donald John Trump.

O'REILLY Because he believes that the election was a fraud.

NAVARRO No, they don't want him in the Oval Office because he's the only guy who will stand up to China.

O'REILLY Well, but it's not just about China. It's about he wants the whole voting system to be revamped.

NAVARRO That's true. Look, we should, look, you can't have a democracy without a true ballot system. One where people vote, their votes get counted, and people who are not allowed or should not vote don't participate. We don't have that now. We've got, we've got chaos out there.

O'REILLY Yeah, because each state runs its own election, depending on what the states decide to do.

NAVARRO But stay with that idea, it's like the president gives a major prime-time address. There's only about one of those a year, Bill. Those are rare birds. And generally, networks cover them, and they're important, and afterwards networks talk about them. That's not what happened in this case.

O'REILLY No, I know. But it happened with me, because I'm sitting there going, okay, what did China do? I'm not sure that China was a mitigating factor in the 2020 election. I'd have to see more.

NAVARRO But that wasn't the point of that press conference. The point was to point out, the point was to point that they have the capabilities, OK? And we're worried about this coming election in '26 and again in '28.

O'REILLY Well, you may know this, but Neville Roy Singham is a money man attached to the Chinese government. Okay, he's pumping money into Al-Sayed's campaign, all the radical leftists.

NAVARRO Act Blue. I mean, Act Blue is a democratic organ which is designed to bring in foreign money.

O'REILLY So that's happening.

NAVARRO It's all happening.

O'REILLY You ought to get a big chart, and say, hey, look at this.

O'REILLY We're always honest here. Our culture talks about choice, but avoids the truth. Women facing unplanned pregnancies are rushed, pressured, told to decide before they see what's really happening. But when a mother sees her baby on an ultrasound, the narrative changes. At Preborn Network Clinics, a woman is welcome with compassion. Given a free ultrasound, she sees life growing inside her for the first time. So the question is, will she get that moment or not? Because that depends on people like you. Just $28 provides one ultrasound. And $145 provides five ultrasounds. So please call #250 and say baby. That's#250, the word baby. Or go to preborn.com/bill. That's preborn.com/bill, sponsor an ultrasound, help a mother choose life.

O'REILLY Are you being lied to? They tell you to max out your 401K and IRA, and then they make you beg for permission to use your own money. It's time to get to the truth and discover a better way to grow and protect your assets. Bank On Yourself is the proven retirement plan alternative that banks and Wall Street desperately hope you will never hear about. Gives you guaranteed growth and tax-free retirement income, built-in inflation protection and peace of mind. You can get a free report that reveals how. You can bank on yourself and enjoy tax-free retirement income, guaranteed growth, control of your money. Just go to bankonyourself.com/bill, get your free report. That's bankonyourself.com/bill. Bankonyourself.com/bill..

O'REILLY Now, you paid, personally, a hellacious price for your skepticism, I think that's a good word, about the 2020 election, and Congress wanted to hear from you. You told them to shove it. You got four years in the pen.

NAVARRO Four months.

O'REILLY Oh, you got four months.

NAVARRO Which felt like four years. But the issue, Bill, interestingly enough, as we speak, within a couple of days I'll be submitting a cert petition to the Supreme Court to hear my appeal. And I said when I got arrested, the day I got arrested, this case was going to the Supreme Court. What this was about was the legal authority of the legislative branch to subpoena senior presidential advisers. Up to the point where I received that subpoena, it was more than 50 years of Department of Justice policy and George Washington's doctrine of executive privilege, it said, hey, you can't do that. So I held the principle, I held the principle.

O'REILLY You're not shy, so you put yourself out. Now, how was it inside a federal penitentiary? You know, you were getting older and you're there. Did anybody give you a hard time or anything like that?

NAVARRO It takes its toll, but I'll give you the good news. I did use my time productively. I got in there and discovered early on that the First Step Act, which was a piece of legislation that President Trump had put into place during the first term, was not being enforced. The implication of it was that first-time offenders, nonviolent first-time offenders, were spending much longer time in prison than their sentences in the First Step Act required. And I'm as tough on crime as anybody, but I'm also a fiscal conservative, and there's no point in keeping people in prison longer than their expiration date.

O'REILLY It seems like something the Democrats would like. They let everybody out of prison.

NAVARRO Yeah, well, they didn't do that. But the good news is, when I was in prison, I wrote op-eds about this, that, and the other. And tomorrow, as we're sitting here, the Bureau of Prisons director is going to issue the final rulemaking, which brings in all of the recommendations and policy reforms I developed in prison. And I'm going to save the taxpayers $5 billion.

O'REILLY Good for you. Good for You.

NAVARRO So that was like the good side of prison, but look, it's a bitch. It's like, it probably cost me a year or two, maybe whatever life I'm gonna have left because it's tough sledding, and that's consistent with the research on that.

O'REILLY Anybody give you a hard time in that?

NAVARRO No, no. You know, I conducted myself. I didn't pretend I was like a big deal or whatever. Interestingly enough, most of the inmates in there like Trump better than Biden, because Biden had promised all sorts of stuff, never delivered. Trump never promised anything and delivered something.

O'REILLY Yeah, a lot of pardons.

NAVARRO No, it was, I got a book. I went to prison, so you won't have to.

O'REILLY Yeah, I read the book.

NAVARRO The night I got out of prison, Bill, I went to the stage of the Republican National Convention and gave a speech and got the most warm and loud welcome. And I think, you know, President Trump would have won that election in a landslide. But I do think my case highlighted how the Democrats had weaponized our justice system. So, you know, maybe I helped a little bit there. The toughest day of my life in there was the day the president got shot, because I was sitting there in real time watching that Butler thing, and I'm looking at it, and that's not my first rodeo. I'm going, that doesn't look right to me. They got, like, all these, in the background it's like an open area and this, that, and the other thing. That looks naked there. What are they doing? The next thing I know.

O'REILLY Well, the Secret Service director got booted for it. The upshot about all of this is that Americans are suspect now of their elections, and they're suspect about their medical conditions. And you and Waylon on Fauci, Fauci may go to jail. He may be calling you.

NAVARRO I got a, I want to show this to you. Why Fauci must rot in prison. What's interesting is...

O'REILLY What did he do? Why would you put him in there?

NAVARRO So, the end of this book, the three chapters, 15 counts, everything from homicide to obstruction of justice. And what's interesting about this office, Bill, is this was my office during the first term and I was the only guy in the West Wing, and very early on, who challenged Fauci on just about everything he was trying to shove down their throats.

O'REILLY So you didn't believe from the jump that Fauci was telling the truth.

NAVARRO The first time I saw him, President Trump sent me to the Situation Room. It was January 28, 2020. And he said, get me my China travel ban. It was the first meeting of the task force. And they were giving him some hard time. So I go in there, and I sit down there. Mulvaney's down. He's the acting chief of staff. And this guy sitting across from me didn't know he walked on water, didn't know who the hell he was. Bob Redfield, the CDC guy, sitting right next to him, and within a minute. I'm in a very, very heated argument with this son of a bitch. And I'm thinking to myself, because he's going travel bans don't work and I go, you've got 20,000 Chinese people coming in every day. Wuhan has got dark clouds because bodies are being burned, and a virus is loose, and you're telling me that you wanna let those people come in here when they can't even move around their country from Wuhan? Is that what you're telling me, sir? And boy, we went at it pretty good.

O'REILLY What did Fauci say?

NAVARRO Travel bans don't work. Kept saying it over and over again.

O'REILLY Just kept saying it over and over.

NAVARRO Like Flaubert's Parrot.

O'REILLY So you believe that Fauci committed felonies.

NAVARRO He did. So here's what we've learned, and this is the ultimate thing. He is responsible for the pandemic, okay? Follow me here. That pandemic started in the Wuhan lab. I was the first guy in this administration in April going on TV with Maria Bartiromo. I said that the virus came from the Wuhan lab, and what we know now, and why Fauci must rot in prison, is that Fauci's agency paid for this thing called gain-of-function research. That's a tool that can take a harmless bat virus in the Wuhan lab and turn it into something that can jump from a bat to a human and kill that human.

O'REILLY Do you think the Chinese did it on purpose or was it just a terrible accident?

NAVARRO I think that the jury is still out on that. I'm not going to say yes to that. I'll tell you that's a bioweapons lab in Wuhan, as well as a civilian lab. I'll tell you that they desperately wanted Donald Trump not to win that election, and that that virus and Fauci helped to bring him down. See, okay, he killed people with that virus. There's no question in my mind that the technology that American taxpayers paid for to send to China, helped create that virus. No question in my mind. So right there, I call him the godfather of the pandemic. But then the next thing he did, and this is why this book is so important, I kept a diary, he kept a diary, we have his diary. What he said, Bill, in January, he had 12 experts come to him and say, that virus, 10 out of 12, said that virus is from the lab. And right then, he knew, oh my god, I must have created that. And what he did over the ensuing four-week period is engineer a cover-up, including the manufacture of fake academic papers that said it was from the lab.

O'REILLY But Donald Trump kept him on.

NAVARRO You know, that's the funny thing. There were so many people saying Fauci's the best thing since sliced bread.

O'REILLY Inside the administration

NAVARRO Inside the administration and outside. Yeah. Look...

O'REILLY Were you a lone voice or?

NAVARRO I was a lone voice. Yes, yes, yes. I told the boss a couple of times, you got to fire this son of a bitch, because every time he goes out and gives a press conference, he sticks a knife in your back. And that's exactly what he did. And he wound up as Joe Biden's chief medical advisor. That position did not exist in the presidency until Fauci got it. And he, what's interesting about his diary, which I write about in Why Fauci Must Ride in Prison, what he would write in private in his diary, Bill, would be inconsistent what he'd say in public. For example, and this is criminal, women in their first trimester of pregnancy have risk when it comes to the jab, okay? He acknowledged that in his diary, talking to another expert on this. He went out and told those women it was safe, take the jab. And by the way, if you don't take the jab, you're gonna lose your job.

O'REILLY Well, that's why the J-Department's scrutinizing him now.

NAVARRO Yeah.

O'REILLY You know we spend a lot of time on this program talking about elections, the economy, Washington, all the numbers politicians throw around. O'REILLY Did you get a COVID shot?

NAVARRO I did not, and there's a funny story about that. This will tell you a little bit about who I am. I remember, like, one of the last days of the administration, because the vaccine didn't come really until just the end, when we were here. And we're in there in the Oval, and the doc comes in and says, hey, we have the vaccine now, who wants it? And Kudlow's going, give me that, give that. And I'm thinking to myself, there's like millions of Americans who need that thing, because what you should do is you give it to the people, senior citizens and people with comorbidities first, right? How's that going to look if we're getting in line and being the first in the White House? So I was lucky I made that decision then. And then, Bill, I would learn very quickly about how Pfizer withheld important safety data that actually showed that that vaccine was dangerous.

O'REILLY Could be dangerous.

NAVARRO Could be dangerous. And then...

O'REILLY That's never come out.

NAVARRO It's out there, but did the legacy media report it?

O'REILLY Yeah, but I don't even have access to it.

NAVARRO You can read my three articles in the Washington Times with Dr. Robert Malone about the whole damn thing. I mean, I learned in this again why I wrote this book, because I wrote a trilogy of articles with Doc Malone. Doc Malone is a fascinating guy because he's the guy who helped invent the RNA platform that begat the vaccine. It's not really a true vaccine, it's something a little different. And we said, you know, Fauci was telling us vaccine's a dead end, Bill. You take that vaccine, that's it. You'll be fine. You'll never get COVID. The virus stops with you. And we're writing in the Washington Times at the same time, no, that damn thing's leaky. And you don't give it to everybody. You don't give it to young men with strong hearts who are going to get inflamed hearts because they'll be susceptible. And so what Fauci's doing is, and he's writing this in private, he's acknowledging all this, but he goes with this universal vaccination. I fought him on the lockdown, Bill. I was telling people, I remember in October they had the Barrington Declaration which said, hey, lockdown's bad, we should have just heard immunity. I was talking about that like in April and May. Based on my economic training, I said, look, that lockdown is going to kill more people than the vaccine itself because of all of the things that will happen. People not getting tests for cancer or other kinds of diseases, the depression, the alcoholism, all of that. And I was absolutely right about that.

O'REILLY Well, in Europe, a lot of those countries did not lock down.

NAVARRO And they were better off for it. Sweden was leading that. So I fought him on masks, lockdowns, the China travel ban, the vaccines, the boosters, everything, and then I find out this SOB actually funded that virus. See, that didn't come out when we were here. If that had come out, he would have been out the door in a minute.

O'REILLY Well, we knew it early on because of his previous engagements that they had an association with other...

NAVARRO We never knew that while we were here in the first term, and we only found out later.

O'REILLY That's a failure of intelligence.

NAVARRO He's an evil man and everything in his diary, and kudos to Bobby Kennedy. Bobby Kennedy goes in as the secretary of HHS, and he sends like a team to go on this hunt throughout the servers of H.H.S. to find that diary. It took him eight months, but he found that thing.

O'REILLY It's loaded with contradictions.

NAVARRO And every one of the entries in Fauci's diary starts with how many people have died.

O'REILLY Okay. So I want to thank Dr. Navarro for our general viewers and listeners. For the Concierge and Premium Members of BillOReilly.com, we've got about 10 minutes left in Killing Time, and we are going to do that right now.
