President Trump's job approval rating has reached a new low following his response to violent clashes at a white supremacist rally in Charlottesville, Va., according to a new survey.

A Politico/Morning Consult poll finds just 39 percent of voters surveyed approve of the job Trump is doing.

Forty-four percent said they approved of Trump's job performance in the same poll a week ago.
