Happy Father’s Day to all the dad and granddads that are Premium Members. I wish you a really fun day with the family.

Not a lot to tell you other than that I was very surprised that the TV ratings were so low regarding the Charleston shooting. I can’t explain it. I don’t think I’ve ever seen anything so strange. There wasn’t anybody who went up. It was like any day. I thought it was an intense story that people would want to take a look at. It is a fact that in this high tech age, the Nielsen ratings company cannot measure anymore how many people are watching any programs because so many people watch on devices other than their TVs. That’s a fact. But usually we’d get a measure but last night we did not.

I think we did a good job last night. I like the mail that you sent. It was pithy and to the point. I thought I’d get some far-right crazy mail but I did not. I didn’t get it. A few nuts but not too many. Most people see it for what it is – a terror attack on a minority community that has no place in this world. You guys stated it strongly and I was glad to read your mail.
