We live in a time when the truth is often compromised – people don’t care if they misstate things or flat out lie. 

When somebody states something that sounds incorrect, it’s okay to be skeptical. Be polite about it. You don’t need to be confrontational. 

You want the person you’re speaking with to give you more than an opinion. Give that person some follow up questions to help get to the truth.

If you’re a skeptical person, you will prosper more than people who trust everyone. 

Automatically trusting everyone is a recipe for disaster in the year 2020.
