Chaos Created Around Trump’s Speech in Pennsylvania

On Saturday, President Trump campaigned in Moon Township, PA, for Rick Saccone, the Republican candidate for the 18th Congressional District special election. Rick Saccone, a state lawmaker, is in a tight race against Democrat Conor Lamb.

During President Trump’s endorsement speech, he gave an early look Saturday at how he intends to help Republicans maintain control of Congress in 2018. He talked about a range of issues including his new steel and aluminum tariffs, the plan to meet with North Korean leader Kim Jong-Un, the Republican tax reform law, and tougher penalties for drug dealers.

However, during the speech, Trump used the time to call out media outlets and personalities who have attacked him. Some of the people he mentioned were: Chuck Todd, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Martha Stewart, Oprah Winfrey, Maxine Waters, Nancy Pelosi, Conor Lamb, Barack Obama, Oakland Mayor-Libby Schaaf and Hilary Clinton.

Never before have we had presidents who have hated the media. Richard Nixon, John Adams for example loathed the media. They can whine all day long, oh it's unpresidential, but hey, look you guys, you're corrupt. You're not covering the news honestly, you want him out, you want a media coup. That's what you want, that's what you're doing. So, don't whine to me about Donald Trump.

Oprah Tells Van Jones “You Must Become a Warrior of Light”

On March 11, Oprah Winfrey was interviewed on CNN’s Van Jones show…keep in mind that Van Jones is a Communist.

Winfrey’s A Wrinkle in Time is being released this weekend and was on the show to promote her new film.

Van Jones began the interview with his break down and view on life in Trump’s America. Oprah confirmed that she will not be running for office in the future, but she did have a lot to say about any future individuals that could be running for office.

"I will say to whoever is going to run for office, do not give your energy to the other side," Oprah said. "Do not spend all your time talking about your opponents. Do not give your energy to that which you really don't believe in. Do not spend an ounce of your time on that.”

In an exchange with Oprah, Van Jones said, “we had the Obamas in the White House. Even on a bad day you had a north star, you had some hope. And then it was like the universe just sad PSYCHE. Throw us in the toilet and close the lid and now we’re just stuck in this crazy situation, it’s starting to swirl.”

Oprah responding by saying, “We have each other. Everybody is feeding yourself on hysteria and the negativity, you’ve got to stay in the light. But ones of the reasons why I was so excited about A Wrinkle in Time…because the message is that the darkness is spreading so fast these days, you must become a warrior of the light.”

Winfrey continued on about the ‘darkness’ including the shooting in Parkland, the violence in Chicago and the streets of Ferguson.

"Look at what happened with the darkness that showed up in Parkland (Florida), and the darkness that showed up on the streets of Ferguson (Missouri), and the darkness that showed up in many, many, many homes in Chicago with shootings and senseless murders -- it brings out the best in people."

Van Jones asked Oprah Winfrey if she had 10 minutes with President Trump what she would say, Winfrey replied, "I would only speak if I felt that I could be heard."

North Korea Meeting Latest

Last Thursday, President Donald Trump accepted an invitation to meet face-to-face with North Korea's leader, Kim Jong Un.

South Korean officials said that the North has agreed to stop their missile tests while the talks between the U.S. and North Korea were ongoing. Trump on Saturday affirmed that he anticipates the meeting will go well and said he is confident North Korea will cease weapons testing while the negotiations take place.

Kim Jong Un hopes to sign a peace deal after the upcoming meeting with President Trump, which is tentatively set for May, Bloomberg reported, citing a South Korea report. Dong-A Ilbo, South Korea's national newspaper, spoke to an unidentified senior official from President Moon Jae-in's office, who said Kim will likely raise the possibility of the peace treaty.

The report said Kim is also likely to voice his desire to establish diplomatic relations with the U.S. and consider nuclear disarmament, the report said. The regime wants a peace treaty to end the more than 60-year-old ceasefire between the two sides and to safeguard its sovereignty.

They will likely meet in Beijing, China, because China is North Korea’s only significant ally, although their relationship has hardly been close in recent years. Still, China was one of the few countries Kim Jong-Il traveled to as North Korea’s leader. China has also played an active role in promoting negotiations among all sides and was a host to the so-called six-party talks a decade ago.

Geng Shuang, a Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman, said Friday that China welcomed the meeting and would “continue to make unremitting efforts” for a “peaceful settlement of the nuclear issue.” But he did not directly answer a question about whether Beijing would be host.

Elizabeth Warren Column: A Sanders-Warren ticket could win big in 2020

According, to Brent Budowsky, a ticket of, Senator Elizabeth Warren and Senator Bernie Sanders could win big in 2020. Now, Bill doesn’t think that this could happen. Bernie Sanders is never going to be president and Elizabeth Warren said that she won’t even run. Now, they wanted her to take a DNA test because she says she's part Native American and she wouldn't take it. It's just a circus. These are two socialists, Bernie and Elizabeth, Americans aren't going to vote for them, they just won’t.

ICE seeks illegal immigrant in Colorado fatal hit-and-run who bonded out of jail

Ivan Zamarripa-Castaneda, 26, an undocumented immigrant from Mexico, has been charged with one count of vehicular homicide-DUI and one count of leaving the scene of an accident resulting in death.

On March 3, in Denver, Colorado, Ivan Zamarripa-Castaneda was driving a pickup truck when he allegedly caused an accident involving a tractor trailer that caught on fire. Zamarripa-Castaneda fled the scene of the accident. He was arrested at his home early on March 4. The 57-year-old driver of the semi-truck died. Officials have not released the victim's identity.

Zamarripa-Castaneda has been charged with one count of vehicular homicide-DUI and one count of leaving the scene of an accident resulting in death. He appeared in court on Friday morning for a second advisement. The 26-year-old had bond posted at $25,000. He was able to make bail and was released on Saturday.

U.S. Immigration and Customs agents want to take Zamarripa-Castaneda into custody because of his immigration status in an effort to get him deported to Mexico. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for April 2.

ICE requested a detainer for Zamarripa-Castaneda while he was in jail, but in a statement a Denver Sheriff’s Department spokesperson said, Denver “has not honored civil detainers since 2013.”

“A detainer is simply a civil request from an agency to hold someone beyond their release date. It is not a judicial order or warrant. To hold someone in jail with no basis would violate the individual’s 4th amendment rights and subject the city to significant liability,” said the spokesperson for the Denver Sheriff’s Department.

The Denver sheriff is calling for an internal investigation of the department after an undocumented immigrant wanted by ICE was bonded out of jail. ICE had previously requested a notification if Ivan Zamarripa-Castaneda was going to be released.

The Denver County Sheriff's Office said in a statement Zamarripa-Castaneda posted a $25,000 bond on Saturday, March 10, and was released from Denver’s Downtown Detention Center at 5:28 p.m. The law enforcement agency said although the department alerted ICE, that alert did not occur until 6:33 p.m.

In a statement from the Denver Sheriff’s Office they said, "This is unacceptable and the sheriff has ordered an immediate internal review to determine why established notification processes did not take place before Zamarripa-Castaneda was released.”

DAVID PERKINS, MORRIS, IL: So, in 1996 Australia more or less eliminates guns from their society with a buyback program. Ok. So, from 1990 to current day homicides in Australia have declined by about 50%. In America and really most developed nations, from the same time period, 1990 to current day, homicide rate has gone down by about 50% also. So, my question is if eliminating guns from a society has no real impact on the homicide rate how are guns to blame in any way shape or form? I haven't heard a great answer so I’m looking forward to yours.
