Rooting for the Home Team
September 2, 2026
When you book a guest on radio or television, you are asking them to deliver their point of view to the audience. The moderator knows what they are likely to say in advance, and there’s nothing wrong with that.

Here’s the problem: What CNN and other networks do is only book guests that agree with their editorial philosophy. Everyone else is totally blocked out.

I am the Number 1 bestselling non-fiction author in the world, and we know which shows will never put us on. They don’t want to hear any opposing point of view.

This should not be happening. If you are a journalist, you must be skeptical of everything and everyone. It’s not a complicated profession.

I won’t watch programs that partake in this ideology.

Why? Because it’s a total waste of time.
