Wild weather on eastern Long Island because of Hurricane Erin, which is somewhere in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean.  The ferocity of nature on full display.

I feel sorry for all the vacationers out here. Not a lot of entertainment options in beach towns.  Especially for the urchins.  And it’s not cheap to stay in this area.

President Trump is not taking his usual end-of-August break because of the Ukraine negotiations.  Evil Putin can’t leave Russia to vacation because he’ll be arrested for war crimes.  We are rooting for the President to get some kind of deal, unlike some other Americans who put ideology over human life, if you can believe it.
