No Spin Nation alert.  I’m not giving in to this malady and am following news events as usual.  As I offered yesterday, we knew President Trump would tamp down the Greenland stuff, just as he did with Panama a year ago.

Like him or not, the President has a strategy to build American strength, and it seems to be working. But there is fierce resistance. Mr. Trump believes Europe is weak, and those folks are taking the derision personally. Great Britain is a good example.

Back home, it’s the usual noxious news coverage.  First, Trump is a mad scientist for going after the ice pack. Then, when he reconsiders, the President is “backing down.”

Consistently this way, Donald Trump is always wrong in the eyes of the media that solidly backed President Biden, who left the USA dazed and confused.

There are many ways to govern.  President Trump prefers confrontation, then consolation.  With the exception of Putin, who’s a brutal sociopath, Trump’s moves on the chessboard are working. China and the U.S. economy loom.  Don’t expect any “backdown.”
