Yesterday, Manchin said he would not vote for President Biden's proposal to tax the "unrealized gains" of wealthy families.

Biden wants the feds to take 20 percent of investments that are in the black but have not been sold. Paper profits. And those investments could decline in value. Biden doesn't care.

The truth is that 57 percent of Americans pay zero federal income tax. The progressive left wants to confiscate assets to drive that number even higher. This is what socialism looks like. Those accumulating wealth finance everything.
Private assets are not protected.

But Manchin is not buying in, and no Republicans will support confiscation of unrealized profits. So another progressive Biden dream dies.
