President Trump called Jake Tapper a “flunky” on Sunday after the CNN anchor’s heated interview with White House adviser Stephen Miller.

Trump responded on Twitter: “Jake Tapper of Fake News CNN just got destroyed in his interview with Stephen Miller of the Trump Administration. Watch the hatred and unfairness of this CNN flunky!”

Tapper and Miller battled during a live interview on Tapper’s weekly show, “State of the Union,” about allegations made in a new book, “Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House.”

Miller took jabs at CNN during the tense exchange, leading Tapper to abruptly cut off the interview.
