Former President Joe Biden was paid $8 million to write a book. But he doesn’t really write the book, because he’s incapable of doing that. Instead, he hires a ghostwriter, who’s an author who actually does the work. When finished, they toss Biden’s name on the cover.

 

It goes like this: The guy, named Mark Zwonitzer, takes extensive notes as he talks to Biden. To make things easier, he uses an audio device to record the conversation. Earlier this month, a federal court ruled those recordings must be released to the public.

 

During the discussion, it’s obvious the former President was totally befuddled. He admitted to keeping classified material “downstairs.” Sounds very secure.

 

The audio will not change anyone’s mind. Progressives will pretend there was absolutely nothing wrong with Old Joe. Conservatives see this as another cover-up by media outlets sympathetic to the Democratic Party.

 

One thing is clear: The people who propped up Biden should be held accountable. But that’s never going to happen.
