We are trying to figure out if the Hillary Clinton story has any other implications – other than damaging her for the presidential election, which I think it has among Independent people.
How much is enough?
You are going to have the Democratic Party and you are going to have liberal Americans supporting her – not to the tune of Barack Obama. There is no way she engenders that kind of enthusiasm. But they will support her.
The Republicans, it helped them, this email thing. To me, it is a good story. I think it says a lot about how Mrs. Clinton sees herself and the country. She believes that she should be held in a different regard. I do not think so; I think she is a politician.
I do not think she did a particularly good job as Secretary of State. I do not see any foreign policy advancements – do you?
It is a mess, and she was there for a lot of years.
To me, it is another mediocre politician trying to get power. I will keep an eye on her, I will cover her fairly. But certainly not anybody that I think is going to change the country in a positive way.
I really don’t think so.
On the Republican side, there are a lot of people jockeying for position right now, who have been successful. I don’t endorse anybody, I am watching all of them.
I think we have seen a decline in Chris Christie’s popularity and Rand Paul’s popularity.
And I think we have seen a rise in Walker of Wisconsin, the governor’s popularity. And maybe Marco Rubio, who did very will in the Quinnipiac poll. Very well.
It is early. We are watching everybody. The Clinton email thing – is it going to die down? Yeah. But it is going to be around – it will be a campaign issue. |
