Bill & Beck React to the Franken Resignation, the Moving of the U.S. Embassy in Israel, and the Mueller Investigation

Bill paid his customary Friday morning visit with Glenn Beck on The Blaze Radio. The first topic that Beck brought up was Al Franken’s resignation. Yesterday, Franken gave a speech on the Senate floor saying that in the coming weeks he is planning to resign. But, will he actually leave? Franken didn’t apologize for anything, in fact he placed the blame on others, such as President Trump and Roy Moore. Franken is a narcissist. In his mind, he doesn’t think he has ever done anything wrong. Senate Minority Leader, Chuck Schumer, was the one who ultimately got Franken to announce his resignation. He basically told Franken that his own party is going to destroy him if he didn’t leave.

Bill says the Democrats pressured Franken out so that they could make their party look like the moral leaders. Franken had to go so that the Democratic Party could position itself as the party of women. If you look at the Democratic Party’s platform, they’re the party of African-Americans, Hispanic Americans, Women, illegal immigrants, LGBT, they’re the party of everyone except White Males. They’re the party of all these other groups because they don’t think that white males alone can overcome the majority of their votes when it comes to the polls. That’s their strategy and that’s why Franken had to go. The Democratic Party’s motto should be, ‘White guys are the enemy, but we like everyone else.’

Beck transitioned to Tuesday’s Alabama Senate election by playing a clip from an interview over the summer that’s getting renewed attention this week. The Guardian quoted President Reagan as once calling the Soviet Union “the focus of evil in the modern world.” Moore responded to this saying, “You could say that very well about America, couldn’t you? We promote a lot of bad things.” Roy Moore is a very, very fringe politician. He has positioned himself as the Christian crusader. The reason Roy Moore is going to win next week is because of his stance on abortion. Alabama is the most pro-life state in the union and Moore’s opponent, Doug Jones, is very pro-abortion. The voters aren’t voting for Roy Moore, they’re voting against his opponent. Moore is trying to appeal to the uber-strong Christian community.

Beck asked Bill what one of his big stories from this week was and Bill brought up Peter Strzok. Strzok was a high-ranking FBI investigator who was assigned to the Clinton email investigation. During that investigation Strzok convinced Director Comey to be less inflammatory in his description of what Hillary Clinton did. After that he was transferred to Robert Mueller’s office to look into the Russian collusion investigation. While Strzok was there, he apparently sent disparaging emails and texts about Donald Trump to his mistress, who was also working for the FBI. The FBI found out about this and removed Strzok from the case and the office. Instead of telling the American people what happened, the FBI kept quiet and hoped they could get away with not making this a big deal.

Now, Congressional investigators are saying they want to see these emails and texts, and if they’re not handed over they’re going to charge Rod Rosenstein, who oversees Mueller, with contempt of congress. They also said they would charge FBI Director Christopher Wray. Once these emails and texts are released Bill said there will have to be a big investigation.

Bill went on to analyze what he thought of President Trump’s vow to move the U.S. Embassy in Israel to Jerusalem, which is something he said he would do when he was campaigning. Trump ultimately did this because it’s a respect to Israel. This move tells the World that America is sympathetic to the Jewish state and it shows that Trump is a guy who keeps his promises. Almost everything that Trump said he would accomplish during his campaign is either done or underway.

At the end of the interview, Bill brings up that during this week’s No Spin News, he predicted that there is going to be an assault headed towards President Trump. However, Bill knows of an audio tape that has an anti-Trump person offering $200,000 to a woman to accuse Trump of untoward behavior. Bill said, if the tape is ever released it will change the entire discussion about sexual abuse allegations in America.

Bill said this is not something that he is going to let go. He doesn’t want the country to be deceived about the industry that pays people to smear others. If you can destroy people just by making an accusation, there are people that will do it for money.
